Clarence Thomas a “Symbolic Jew” according to MSNBC’s Michael Eric Dyson

When Marty, Tina, and I started The Honest Answer, we thought the mainstream media would make exposing their biases a lot harder than it has turned out to be.  MSNBC, to a media-watchdog website, provides an astonishing amount of material for exposure.

In the embedded video, Martin Bashir lets Michael Eric Dyson give one of the most hysterical rants, ever; and I use the word, “hysterical” in all of it’s definitions, including it’s adjectival usage, meaning comical.  Dyson is upset with Clarence Thomas for the Judge’s siding with the majority of the Supremes in overturning Section 4(b) of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.  Dyson compares Judge Thomas to a “symbolic Jew” inviting a “metaphorical Hitler to commit Holocaust and genocide”.  Of course, Dyson is actually a tragicomic figure these days, which is probably why MSNBC is experiencing their current ratings challenges.  Ahem.

According to Dyson, Clarence Thomas should feel deep, terrible shame for siding with the Republican party; the party whose members freed the slaves, marched for civil rights, and passed the Voting Rights Act of 1965 in the first place.  According to Dyson, Thomas should have joined the Democratic party of Bull Connor, George Wallace, and the KKK; the party whose members fought integration, emancipation, and the Voting Rights Act(s).

The post at Mediaite is definitely worth a read.  Check out Dyson and Bashir in the video embedded below:
