Happy Thanksgiving Week! Good Music for Y’all, Too

Well, it’s Thanksgiving Week in ‘Bama, so Honest Answer would like to take this opportunity to express our profound thanks to all of y’all who have supported us, listened to us, and read the articles here on this website.  We really appreciate all of you who have allowed us into your homes through your internet connection.

Marty and I haven’t done a live show for a while, and I have been rather stingy with my posts on the website lately.  Some of this is due to a nasty cold virus.  I’ve been down with it for a couple of weeks, but I’m on the mend, and things will be changing here very soon.  This week, I’m going to take the week off from posting on the website.  I know, it seems like an odd time to do so, with Isis ravaging Paris and Belgium.  Do not be dismayed, though; I’m only taking some time to take care of some family stuff, and enjoy the holiday and re-assess all of the things for which I am thankful.

Speaking of thankfulness, the God whom I serve deserves the biggest thanks of all.  Marty, Tina, and I serve the Almighty, and owe everything to the Savior whose Grace has brought us peace and joy.  2015, in many ways, was a tough year for us, what with losing our Dad.  Many adjustments have had to be made, but through it all, our God has been with us, and borne us through many trials.  God has also given us much to rejoice over, too…which brings me to my next point.

Immediately after Thanksgiving, I’ll be making another big announcement.  I’ve told y’all many times that big things are coming for Honest Answer Radio.  You have seen some of those things; adding Jelena Anderson as a faith commentator, and The Rod Eccles Show to our Channels page, to name a couple.  God has opened a door for us that had previously been closed, and yet another big thing is coming in 2016.  Y’all will find out more about it after Thanksgiving.

Since we are talking about thanks, and gratitude, it’s appropriate now to remind everybody that we are entering the season of Christmas, when we Christians honor the birth of our Savior.  I’m embedding a video below, of Home Free performing a song with Kenny Rogers.  The theme of the song is that we must go where God sends us, and do what He asks of us.  I hope y’all enjoy the video, and have a happy Thanksgiving.
