Proglodytes Gush Over Bernie Sanders’ Education Proposals
It’s high time that all of y’all who call yourselves Progressives to just admit that y’all are Socialists. You really can’t pretend to be anything else, especially if you’re going to gush over Bernie Sanders’ Socialist policy proposals.
Need an example? Take a look at this breathless post at The Hill. Here’s a sample of what you can expect:
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has proposed a formula to create free college education at public universities and finance the program through a small transaction tax on Wall Street trades. This is a powerful, wonderful and profound idea. It should be added to the far-reaching proposals for student loan relief proposed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and become a major Democratic Party initiative that should be supported by all Democratic candidates for president, included in the Democratic platform at the next Democratic National Convention and serve as a dramatic campaign pledge to elect Democratic candidates for the House and Senate in the 2016 elections.
Oh, heck yeah! Taxing investments is a great way to encourage people to invest money. There’s not an ounce of wealth-redistribution in Bernie’s plan, no sir.
If this idea is embraced by Democrats, then Democrats should just call themselves the Socialist Pixie-Dust Party, and be done with it.
