The EPA Has More Guns Than You

Over the weekend, I tried and (mostly) succeeded in avoiding politics.  Every now and then, I think we all need to step back, and spend time in the real world, so that we can come back to the inside-the-beltway world with fresh eyes.  So this morning, what did my fresh eyeballs see?  Oh, my.  I found this post in The Washington Times, telling of a report issued by Open The Books.   The article tells about how heavily armed the Environmental Protection Agency, headed by Gina McCarthy, really is.   From TWT article:

Among the weapons purchased are guns, body armor, camouflage equipment, unmanned aircraft, amphibious assault ships, radar and night-vision gear and other military-style weaponry and surveillance activities, according to a new report by the watchdog group Open the Books.

There’s no word, yet, on how many guns the EPA were using when they poisoned the Animas River in Colorado.  I’m just sayin’.
