The Power of Christ to Overcome Abomination

34 But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.

35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

36 And now therefore thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;  Jeremiah 32: 34-36 KJV  (my emphasis)

In looking through the websites that I normally use to discover news stories, I came across this article at PJ Media.  This paragraph struck me:

Out Magazine is playing fast and loose with the term “snowflakes.” If the members of Abolish Human Abortion were truly snowflakes, they would be filing suit against Bedlam Coffee and Ben Borgman. Instead, they’ve expressed concern for Borgman’s eternal soul and have clearly stated that they do not want him to suffer any legal ramifications for his actions.

The story from today is a follow-up piece from this original article, which I did not publish because of the language used in the video at the bottom of the PJ Media post.  Please read both articles, and if you can stand some REALLY STRONG BLASPHEMY, watch the video.

If you don’t think that there is a link to Baal, Idolatry, and the practice of abortion in the United States, I urge you to watch the video immediately below.  More after the break.

Okay, y’all.  I’m sure that the Christians who read these pages have a foul taste in their mouths by now.  I understand.  I don’t want to leave you with that foul taste, not on a Friday.  There is some really good news, which you will find at this PJ Media page.  From the PJ Media Post:

This Sunday (October 15), Anna Hoduski will make her way to the Lincoln Memorial after an almost 3,000-mile journey from Kansas City that began July 23, 2016. Anna ran the first 1,700+ miles, biking the final 1,000+ miles due to a knee injury. Supported by her team of Sarah Hoduski and Megan Maier while sacrificing time, sweat, and her body, Anna has undertaken this effort in order to raise awareness about the evil named abortion and to call people to action.

Her endgame is to help ring the death knell signaling the final evil gasp of this country’s genocide of babies. In the words of Anna, “This Sunday at the Lincoln Memorial, we hope to celebrate that there is hope. We want to let people know that they are not alone in the fight to end abortion. All across America, we have met pro-life people who are rising up. Abortion will end, and people are ready to unite and see it end.”

In the article, Miss Hoduski lets us know that God was with her on her journey across America.  Please read the whole article, and I think you will find some hope in the fight to end abortion in our nation.  I hope Anna’s efforts inspire the rest of us to DO SOMETHING to help.  Anna Hoduski is obviously familiar with the words of Paul in Romans 12.  I’ll just close with Paul’s words there:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Romans 12: 1-2
